Interesting fact:

When ‘Gone with the Wind’ came out, the studio held a HUGE premier in Atlanta. The premiere drew many distinguished guests such as the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers and Astors! Local people dusted down their hoop skirts and paraded the streets in old-style clothing.
