‘Gone with the Wind’ was considered a groundbreaking feat in film production when it first came out. The famous Atlanta fire scene was the first scene of the movie to be shot. To make the set look sufficiently impressive, MGM burned several of their old movie sets. This included the Great Wall set from the movie ‘King Kong’!
