Archetypes Personality Test

The Jungian Archetype test was developed by Carl Jung. He used the concept of the archetype to develop his theory of the human psyche. He identified twelve archetypes that represent the range of human motivations that dominate our personality. In his book, Psychological Types, he believed that some people mainly take in information, which he called 'perceiving', while others organize it and draw conclusions, which he called 'judging'. The Myers-Brigs Type Indicator was developed as a result of his ideas many years later, but it is comprised of 16 Personality Types rather than twelve. If you want to try the original Jungian Archetype Test to determine which archetype you are, take this test and find out. The accuracy of the test is based on how honestly you answer the questions, and because human personality can’t be neatly categorized into boxes, you might get a breakdown of more than one personality type!

Jung defined his 12 archetypes by studying the symbols and myths of many different cultures. The archetypes represent behavioral patterns that make up different ways of being. He also stated that they are also cultural symbols and images that exist in the collective unconscious.
