Interesting fact:
The popular pseudonym in this case befits an unidentified man who hijacked a Boeing 727 flying to Seattle from Portland on Nov 24, 1971. Soon after takeoff, the man showed an air steward what appeared to be a bomb inside his briefcase. He successfully ordered the pilots to land at Seattle-Tacoma Airport and collect a ransom of $200,000 and a parachute before taking off again. Somewhere over the Pacific Northwest, the hijacker parachuted from the rear of the aircraft at around 10,000 feet and was never seen again.
